It is no secret that Verizon Wireless is aggressively building its 4G LTE network across its markets in the USA that will go live in a majority of areas by 2011. Now according to screenshots purportedly leaked from one of the LTE tests conducted by the carrier, the new 4G LTE network could be capable of carrying close to 13Mbps of data down and 4Mbps of data up.
This bit of information is not confirmed since it has been obtained from a leaked network testing report. The IP address mentioned in the report does corroborate to the Verizon network. But it’s the larger question of whether or not this is a genuine test and also whether Verizon Wireless could sustain this speed when it launches that should get a lot of its subscribers ruffled.
