The TimesPad is being made by a Chinese company and is making news because it is powered by Intel’s recently launched Atom N550 dual core processor. The TimesPad is a device with a good 11.6-inches large screen with an impressive 1366×768 pixel display resolution. The ultraportable laptop comes with all the standard specifications that include 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 ports, VGA and HDMI ports and a battery that is noted to offer a good 12,000mAh battery backup. The processor frequency is said to be 1.5GHz, internal memory 2GB and storage space is 320GB.
The device is on sale for the western customers at Alibaba. But click ahead only if you are a distributor. The price is set between $325 and $365 but that comes at a minimum order quantity of 500.
