The System76 Starling netbooks are now available for pre-order. The device is pretty much on budget and packs in features that most of you would be happy with. Firstly, the netbook runs on an Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz processor that is well supported by a DDR2 memory. Do note that DDR3 RAM is also supported.
Other features on the tech specs list include a VGA camera, an SD memory card slot, an integrated graphics card chip that renders 720p high definition videos, 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity and a 3-cell battery offering a decent power backup.
The Starling netbook comes in two attractive colors – the Coral Red and the Obsidian Black. The price is pretty much wallet-friendly. As mentioned in the title, the starting price of the System76 Starling netbook is $389 though higher end specs will demand higher costs.
