June 7 – the day when the Worldwide Developers Conference gets underway. This is also the day when AT&T will shut down its current smartphone data plan for a new tiered pricing structure. And now we hear that Sprint is all set to begin training their employees for a new “Slate“. While the rumor is just about “beginning” a training session – which means the actual launch could be much later and hence the date itself could be insignificant, we wonder if this could still be tied to an announcement on Sprint getting its own iPad. Possible, but still not convincing enough.
But don’t get excited by this. News is also in that Sprint 4G is slower than T-Mobile’s 3G.
