LG is all set to unveil the first full 3D smartphone in the world at the Mobile World Congress that is going to be held in Barcelona from the 14th of February to the 17th. With the launch of this smartphone Optimus, LG would become the first ever manufacturer in the world to have achieved this feat. The biggest issue that plagues the 3D market at the moment is the lack of content and Optimus is going to be an answer to this problem.
A few technical specifications of the device that came to be known were the presence of a dual lens camera that will help shoot ad record in 3D. Also, the view panel would not require any 3D glasses as such for experiencing the effect and other options like HDMI and sharing of the 3D content. No further details have been divulged by LG yet. Meanwhile, LG’s tablet G-Slate is also due in March.
