Rooting a phone is a risky thing. If you don’t do it the right way, you can end up bricking your phone with no warranty for the damage you just got made. However, a lot of users root their phones simply for the customizations that such a thing offers. If you are one of those non-technical guys who would like to explore a rooted phone, folks at XDA just got their new application – SuperOneClick – an easy one-click Android rooting application.
This new rooting application works on all Android phones including the latest FroYo version of the OS. Of course, the risk still stays and you are going to root the phone at your risk. But in case, you would like to try it out, click here for instructions as well as the download links.
Do note that SuperOneClick does not offer a permanent root on all devices. Some phones like HTC EVO, HTC Desire and Droid Incredible only support a Level 1 root with the software and users will need to use the solution at unrevoked.com to proceed towards a permanent root.
