Now that was quick. Last week, when Facebook launched its new location feature named Places for iPhone, several users complained about issues with logging into the social networking application from their jailbroken iDevices. Facebook has now announced a new update to their iPhone app that will take care of these login issues.
But interesting though, the developers make no mention of the issues being exclusive to jailbroken devices and instead note that the new version only “Fixes login issues“.
The new 3.2.2 version of Facebook can be downloaded for free from the App Store by clicking here. Do note that though this version can be downloaded by people from all across the world, the Places feature will however work only on iPhones located in the US. Facebook is apparently “working hard” to bring it elsewhere.
