As noted earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is now available for purchase from the AT&T stores starting this week. The device can be purchased at a whopping price of $649.99 though this comes without a contract. But without a data plan to go with this, the device is only as good as a Wi-Fi only device that really is not something you should go for considering that the iPad is available at close to $150 less.
Users looking to sign up for a data plan will need to shell out $14.99 per month for 250MB of data or $25 a month for a 2GB data limit. These are not exactly user friendly pricing figures and so I really don’t think many customers will be interested.
