Looks like AT&T wants to do away with all of their Xperia X10 inventory before the end of this year. The carrier has announced a new promotional offer that lets users win a free Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 phone for every contracted unit they purchase. This buy-one, get-one-free offer is set to run until the end of this year.
The offer is also being promoted through Sony Ericsson‘s Twitter account where a company representative has written,
It doesn’t get better than this – buy an Xperia™ #X10 at @ATT (until Jan 1, 2011) and get one #FREE!
While this is a nice deal if you are looking to gift one of your kin with an Xperia, it is still not as good as the alternate offer from Best Buy that is currently on. You may recall the Best Buy free smartphone offer that gives users a chance to buy one of several phones – including Xperia X10 – at $0, provided customers sign up for a 2 year contract.
