Looking to purchase the highly popular Samsung Galaxy S on AT&T? If you didn’t know, it is called Samsung Captivate. Ma Bell has now announced that the Android handset will be hitting its stores come July 18. The price of the handset will be $199.99 and a two year contract that includes a voice plan and a $15 add-on data package.
The new Samsung Captivate will come with a 4-inches large display that is made of Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen. The phone will run on Android 2.1 and will contain a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor. Other features include a 5-Megapixel camera with autofocus, 720p HD video capture, 16GB onboard storage and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Just the right Android device if you are coming off the iPhone and do not want to migrate to another carrier.
