Armor has unveiled its new X10gx tablet computer that is definitely not aimed at those merely looking to play a movie or download apps. The device comes packaged in a rugged casing that will withstand all the harsh environments and temperature extremes. That means it should definitely help if you are a journalist live-blogging your African safari.
Speaking of specs, the device comes with a 10.4-inches display with 1024×768 resolution and built with anti-glare and anti-reflective materials. The computer runs on a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300 processor along with a 2GB RAM and a storage of up to 64GB. 80GB and 160GB options are available as well. Other features on the device include a Gobi mobile broadband, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
There is no word on the pricing, though the shipping is expected to start September 15.
