Samsung is rumored to be launching its S-Pad tablet PC in August this year. The device is said to come with a 7 inch Super-AMOLED display screen. Engadget writes that such a display will be five times as bright as an LCD screen which will make it a pleasure to read ebooks on the move. Traditionally, reading text on electronic devices has been a pain when you are outside.
The device is expected to be launched by SK Telecom in Korea though we do not have any information for partners outside the native country. The launch is expected to happen in August of this year.
The S-Pad will have 3G connectivity embedded in the system and will be targeted at the ebook reading population.
