The rumor mills are it once again. A Russian tech forum appears to have got us some fodder. According to reports, the new Samsung Galaxy S2 i9200 will launch in early 2011 with some mind-boggling specs.
For starters, claims are that this Samsung Galaxy S successor will come with a 4.3-inches Super AMOLED display at 1280×720 resolution – that’s 340 pixel-per-inch and is higher than iPhone 4’s much touted retina display. This apart, the phone is also noted to include a 2GHz processor that is powered by a 1GHz RAM and a 4GB ROM. Users will get a 32GB flash storage spot with additional microSD support.
More awesomeness here. Samsung Galaxy S2 is expected to come with an 8-Megapixel camera that will support a full 1080p HD video recording. The device is expected to run on Android 3.0 Gingerbread and will include other standard features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
After all this, here is the caveat once more – this is a rumor and take it with a pinch of salt.
