A repair company, iResQ claims to have procured prototype parts of what they claim could be from the next generation iPhone. We would like to treat this with a lot of skepticism at present since there appears to be no way to gauge the veracity of iResQ’s “sources“. Nevertheless, this is the claim

  • iPhone 4G could be marginally longer by about 1/4 inch from its predecessors
  • Reflective sensor above the speaker indicates likely position for proximity sensor
  • LCD is factory glued to the digitizer like the first gen iPhone which implies higher replacement costs for customers.

What do you think? Do these claims appear likely on iPhone 4G? Tell us what you think!
