Watch Apple Media Event Live On The Web

As you are aware, Apple is holding a special media event at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco today to make a few high profile announcements including the possible launch of a new iOS-based iTV, a new iPod Touch and also possibly iPod nanos with a refurbished form factor.

The event begins at 10 AM Pacific Time on September 1.

If you are looking forward to watch the event live on your computer, you can do it by simply logging on to Apple’s website www.apple.com. The company has said in a PR that the live viewing will be available for users with Macs running Safari on Mac OS X, iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. No mention of PC and so it is probable that Windows users may not be able to watch it on their computers. But hey, Apple says the HTTP live streaming is based on open standards. So it must be Microsoft’s fault somehow in case live viewing is not available on Windows.
