Free Blackberry GeoLocation Service Offers Location Service To Non-GPS Users

Research In Motion has announced this latest location service that is capable to registering your location using information about the nearest cellphone tower.

As it is evident, this is not going to be as accurate as information from GPS. However RIM notes that their applications could use the geolocation service to instantly throw results from location based services while using information from GPS to retrieve more specific location details.
