Two years and several hundreds of thousands of smartphone sales later, the mobile internet revolution is finally beginning to kick off and the smartphones have a huge role to play. According to Admob’s recent data (which has to be taken with a pinch of salt since it is not holistic), iPhone thoroughly rules when it comes to browsing via mobile phone

The share of smartphones in wireless internet access : 39.1%

iPhone : 48%
Android : 17%
RIM OS : 14%
WebOS : 10%
Windows Mobile OS : 5%
Hiptop OS : 3%
Other : 3%
