Last month In-Stat published statistics on the growth of Wi-Fi enabled handsets globally. According to this, 184 million Wi-Fi enabled mobile handsets will be shipped this year. Now in a new report from Coda Research, the corresponding statistics have been released for United States. Here are the projected growth of Wi-Fi enabled mobile phones in US

2009 : 38 million
2010 : 55 million
2011 : 76 million
2012 : 97 million
2013 : 118 million
2014 : 136 million
2015 : 149 million
