Mobile phones are much better social connectors than traditional desktops. 91% of mobile internet users in USA have used it for social networking compared to just 79% of desktop users. Here are the top ways people use mobile phones to connect socially according to a study by Ruder Finn

Forward emails : 58%
Comment on social networks : 45%
Connect on social networks : 43%
Share content : 40%
Share photos : 38%
