The US has been a focal point of online ad spending all along. However the balance has slowly started to shift. Google’s recent quarterly earnings report indicated that more of its earnings are now from outside the US unlike earlier. There has been a similar trend in the social networks ad spending too. Here is a statistic of how the online social network ad spending would tend to grow in US and elsewhere.
