Between December 2008 and December 2009, the search engine market grew 46% worldwide. The highest growth has come from Russia, Brazil and France. Here is the total number of internet searches conducted in each of these countries and the YoY growth
1. USA : 22.7 billion (22%)
2. China : 13.2 billion (13%)
3. Japan : 9.1 billion (48%)
4. UK : 6.2 billion (35%)
5. Germany : 5.6 billion (38%)
6. France : 5.4 billion (61%)
7. South Korea : 4.0 billion (44%)
8. Brazil : 3.7 billion (53%)
9. Canada : 3.7 billion (28%)
10. Russian Federation : 3.3 billion (92%)
