Revenue Growth of MMS versus SMS

MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service ) is often regarded as a richer version of text messaging, yet poorer while it comes to the revenue generated. This is established by the fact that the 2009 projections of MMS revenues are equal to the 2004 revenues from SMS.
MMS shall make $31 billion in 2009. SMS revenues in 2004 was $30 billion. Text messaging revenues in 2008 were $130 billion which is projected to rise to $224 billion by 2013.
