When traffic to entire web properties can show the health of the website traffic, the visit to the homepages of portals show the brand recognition of these websites. Hitwise recently measured the most popular portal front pages of websites ranked by the market share of visits. Wonder why Google was not included. Probably it does not fit the definition of a portal!
