Largest Hard Drives Manufacturer

In 30 years, SeaGate became the first manufacturer to ship One Billion hard drives. The first SeaGate hard drive made in 1979 could store 5 MB of data. Since then, SeaGate has manufactured 79 Terabytes worth of hard drives. The company plans to double the number to 2 billion in another five years.

Looks like number of 79 Terabytes total is not a big number for 31 year of hard drive production….
