Internet Usage in Public Libraries

Public Libraries areĀ visited by over 53 percent of the Americans. Of these, the majority of the Generation Y (18 to 30 years) made use of the computer facilities there. On an overall, over 66 percent of library visitors of all age groups made use of the internet when they visited the library. Internet users were more than twice likely to patronize libraries compared to the non-internet users.
