Apple is expected to announce the launch of their Tablet at the end of this month. With Google and a few other companies also in the process of launching their own tablet computer devices, how long before growth in this market explodes? A Morgan Stanley report reveals the following sale numbers in the recent past and over the next few years

2008 : 1 million
2009 : 2 million
2010 : 8 million
2011 : 24 million
2012 : 36 million
2013 : 49 million

The numbers for 2010 sound conservative because Apple itself is believed to have estimated a sale figure of 10 million in this one year.
