The percent of spam mails containing malware has been on the rise. According to the latest “State of Spam” report, here are a few key pointers

86% of all mail was spam in September
4.5% of all spam contained a malware and that’s a high
The most common subject lines in these mails were “Delivery Status Notification” (Failure), “Return Mail,” and “Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender. These Non-delivery receipt kind of spam alone constituted 6.14% of all spam mails.
