An exclusive iPhone deal has been a double-edged sword for carriers like AT&T and O2. While the craze for iPhone meant that their customer base grew at a terrific pace, it also meant increased data consumption because of smartphone users have turned out to be voracious consumers of data. Here is how the wirless internet bandwidth consumption has differed among those carriers that offer iPhone and those that do not.
Data Consumption among Non-iPhone carriers
Laptop : 93.78%
Touch Screen Smartphones : 3.73%
Non-Touch Smartphones : 1.08%
Feature Phones : 1.41%
Data Consumption among iPhone carriers
Touch Screen Smartphones : 52.10%
Laptop : 45.43%
Non-Touch Smartphone : 1.96%
Feature Phone : 0.48%

This just shows consumption by device has shifted, pretty big chunk of browsing face time with the iPhone for sure. Do you guys also have info on the data usage between these user types and also what are the types of data being consumed differences. e.g. GB of data consumed / mo.; more watching video, streaming music, etc. type of content.
