World Mobile Market:By Subscribers, Data Revenue & Service Revenue

The growth in the global telecom market can be looked at from two angles : in terms of subscribers and in terms of revenues. Whereas the number of subscribers are massive in emerging economies like India and China, the revenues do not translate commensurately. This is because most of these subscribers use their mobile phones in the basic form for voice calls alone.
