So where have these million of new users come from? According to an article on the O’Reilly blog, Africa is the fastest growing region – with a 21% growth rate. Meanwhile, Asia presents the most growth potential moving forward with just a 2.3% penetration at present.

Asia : 17.1%
South America : 9.2%
Middle East/North Africa : 8.5%
Oceania : 2.3%
