45% of American employers have used social networks to screen candidates
35% of those rejected candidates because of inappropriate social networks activity
53% of those rejected candidates for inappropriate pictures
44% rejected candidates who drink or administer drugs
35% rejected candidates who had bad mouthed their previous employers
29% rejected candidates who had poor communication skills
24% rejected candidates who had lied about their qualifications
20% rejected candidates who had shared confidential information about previous employer.
