Health expenses in US are increasing exponentially to reach 20 percent of all expenses made by 2018. That is, health expenses would constitute $1 out of every $5 spent in US by 2018. To reduce costs, lawmakers and executives are urging doctors to cut down costs and save money by providing online prescriptions.

If this goes well, Electronic prescriptions can well save over $29 billion in a ten year period.
