E-Readers Market Share in US

A recent Forrester research has increased its forecast of the sale of e-readers from 2 million to 3 million for 2009 following an increased optimization of their sales during the oncoming Christmas season. 10 million units are expected to be sold worldwide in 2010. Kindle remains the leader in this space. Here is the current market share in the US:

Amazon Kindle : 60%
Sony e-Reader : 35%
Others (Foxit,Interead,IRex) : 5%
