Ever since the smartphone revolution took off with the launch of iPhone in 2007, the network carriers have had a torrid time in keeping their networks free from congestion. Quite evidently, the operator to have been affected the most is AT&T thanks to its exclusive partnership with Apple for the sale of iPhones in USA. Despite all the serious work done by the company over the past few months, dropped calls still seem to be dogging the company’s network.

A recent study by ChangeWave looked into the percentage of dropped calls across the largest network carriers in USA. Here are the results

AT&T : 4.5%
T-Mobile : 2.8%
Sprint : 2.4%
Verizon : 1.5%
