Countries With Highest Average Broadband Speed

Europe and East Asia are regions with the highest broadband speed. The state of internet report by Akamai puts the average global internet speed at 1.7 Mbps which has grown 13% year-over-year. Here are the top ten countries with the highest broadband speeds
1. South Korea : 14.6 Mbps
2. Japan : 7.9 Mbps
3. Hong Kong : 7.6 Mbps
4. Romania : 6.2 Mbps
5. Sweden : 5.7 Mbps
6. Ireland : 5.3 Mbps
7. Netherlands : 5.2 Mbps
8. Switzerland : 5.0 Mbps
9. Denmark : 4.8 Mbps
10. Czech Republic : 4.8 Mbps
United States is 18th at average internet speed of 3.9 Mbps
