China mobile has seen a drop in profits YoY for the second quarter of 2009. It has also failed in its attempt to proliferate 3G in the country.

Net Income : Yuan 30.1 billion (down from Yuan 30.6 billion)
Subscribers : 500 million (15.96 million in the last quarter)
Number of 3G subscribers : 1 million
