Average Banner Click Through Rate?

This has always been a million dollar question, right? A study of more than 10 billion ad inquiries by Adtech reveals the obvious – that banner blindness has indeed been creeping in. The average Banner CTR in the month of November-December since 2004 have been:

2004 : 0.33%
2005 : 0.23%
2006 : 0.22%
2007 : 0.17%
2008 : 0.19%
