Copia Wave5 eReader Price And Features Review

Copia has announced the launch of a super-cheap eReader that could create new pressure for the popular eReader manufacturers on their pricing point. The new color screen multitouch eReader shall come at a price of $99 – similar to the Genbook that was discussed yesterday.

The Copia Wave5 eReader shall come equipped with 5-inches capacitive multitouch with an LCD display of 800×400 pixel resolution. The device has an internal memory that includes a 64MB RAM capacity and an onboard storage capacity of 2GB. Of course, an additional SD storage is on offer as well. The Copia Wave5 eReader will support file formats like MP3, AAC, WMA, MPEG-4 and WMV video, most image formats, plus ePub, TXT and PDF.

You may access the audio and video files using the mono speaker and 3.5mm headphone jack. At an ultra-lightweight of  6.7oz, this eReader is extremely portable.

As mentioned already, the Copia Wave5 eReader is priced at $99.99. If you are happy with the features but are only looking at a larger screen, you can check out Copia Wave7 eReader that is priced at $129.99 and comes with a 7-inches LCD touchscreen.
