Acording to a recent study by Sysomos, close to 30% of all bloggers worldwide are from the United States. While the study did not elaborate on the number of bloggers, it has noted that there are over 100 million blogs.

Inside North America, California is the largest contributor followed, as expected, by New York. Here is the share of bloggers among the various provinces/state in North America

1. California : 14.1%
2. New York : 7.16%
3. Ontario : 5.59%
4. Colorado : 5.25%
5. Texas : 4.37%
6. Pennsylvania : 4.34%
7. Florida : 4.25%
8. Washington : 3.39%
9. Illinois : 2.64%

According to their report, USA contributes close to 30% of all bloggers worldwide with California raking up the highest numbers inside the United States. Canada is among the top five countries with Ontario being the largest contributer.
