Evercool has launched a new gaming notebook cooler accessory aptly named ‘Battle Hero‘ that the manufacturers claim will keep your notebook cool with the help of additional fans.

The Battle Hero notebook cooler is made of Aluminium and measures 324x270x35 millimeters. It contains a couple of fans spinning at 1500rpm, but with a sound output of just 16dBA, don’t expect too much of noise when the cooler is at work. Evercool claims that the device is perfect for notebooks that measure between 9-inches and 15-inches of screen size.

Sounds impressive, but we still do not have a word on the price. How much are you ready to pay?

New Silicone Bumpers For iPhone 4 To Be Launched By Apple

Folks at iLounge have got hold of a number of new rumors about the next generation iPhone, iPod and iPad. Of course, you may have read most of them on other blogs by now. Basically, we hear that the next-gen iPad and iPod are going to be a tad smaller than the current models. Also, Apple is expected to advance the launch of iPhone 5G as early as January 2011 because of the antenna issues on iPhone 4.

Besides these, a lesser talked revelation is about an all-silicone version of iPhone bumpers that is expected to be released post-September. According to the source, Apple had known about the antenna issue well before the launch of the new iPhone which was the primary reason behind the production of the new bumpers.

The original unreleased bumper model is reported to have contained more plastic to it. In fact, Apple considered moving bumpers as part of the iPhone 4 package before deciding at the final moment to do away with the plan. However, with the company now having decided to give away bumpers for free until September, the source claims that the bumpers sold after September will be  a less-expensive silicone version. It is however unclear if Apple would sell them at a lower cost, considering that they may now be looking to recoup the costs incurred from the iPhone 4 Case Program.

The Saddleback leather case for iPad is noted to be rugged and is built with great attention to detail. The leather sleeves are available in four different colors – Tobacco brown, Coffee brown, Chestnut and Carbon black.

While this case can be a great accessory for your iPad, the form factor could be a con. Folks at IntoMobilepoint out that the “sleeve” form factor makes it difficult to take the iPad in and out. Nevertheless, the rugged material should provide sufficient protection in case you have your doubts.

The Saddleback leather pouch for iPad is priced at $55. It’s a little on the upper side, but if you are looking at genuine leather pouches, I guess you don’t have a choice.

Duracell Portable Universal Charger For Netbooks Announced

Netbooks are meant to be portable. But if your device fails to last the entire journey and the battery dies midway, there is no point in pulling out the traditional bulky chargers that do not offer enough portability. Add to this the prohibitive costs that will make it difficult to purchase a second charger to help you during travel alone.

Duracell has launched its new universal charger for netbooks that not only makes the charger portable, but at less than $50, is also quite affordable. This new portable charger is called the Duracell 40-Watt Universal Netbook Adapter and is priced at $49.99 in Wal-Mart, CompUSA besides several other online ecommerce portals.

To make the adapter universal, Duracell has offered four different plugging tips that automatically change the adapter voltage between 12V and 19V to suit the netbook being charged. Most of the popular netbooks from companies including Asus, Acer and Dell are supported.

Production company, Vid Atlantic has partnered itself with iPhone broadcasting company OWLE to develop an OWLE Bubo iPhone mount that can enable users to capture real High definition videos by mounting your iPhone 4 to a mount fitted with SLR cameras.

A video of the results is embedded below. As you can see, the OWLE Bubo iPhone mount is a pretty great alternative to an actual DSLR camera. Of course, if you are a pro, you may disagree. But most amateurs are definitely going to find great use in this new accessory.

The OWLE Bubo iPhone mount is still not available in the market and it will be quite a while before it does. Nevertheless, the video above is a great example of how it would work and is definitely going to get a lot of people interested.

Leather Cases For iPad In Sleeve-Style, Vertical & Horizontal Designs Launched

Los Angeles based bag makers, Temple, has unveiled a new list of cases for the iPad. These cases have been completely sourced and manufactured in Los Angeles, California.

Temple Bags has announced a series of different designs for the iPad. The designs vary from sleeve-styled iPad cases to a vertical iPad case with exterior and interior pockets, a folio case and a horizontally slideable ipad case with three exterior pockets. In the case of the last casing, two of the three exterior pockets can also double up as stands.

Temple Bags has stated that each of these iPad cases are available in black or brown leather material. Price for these iPad cases range between $79 and $265. You may expect a 2-4 weeks of shipping time.
