Apple Wins Patent For iPhone’s 3G/3GS Form Factor
Apple has been granted patent for the iPhone 3G form factor. Patent number D615083 describes “a new, original and ornamental design for an electronic device” that will include computer, a portable or hand-held electronic device, media player (e.g., music, video and/or game player), media storage device, a personal digital assistant, a communication device (e.g., cellular phone), novelty items or toys.

Interestingly though, the image depicted on the patent application does not depict the iPhone’s home button though other aspects like the volume button, camera, power button, etc. are depicted.
Are we in for a new iPhone sans the Home button?
